I’m Raffaele, a product designer in Barcelona. I’ve been doing this for about 7 years — first as a founding designer at startups, figuring out what to build with very little to go on, and now in bigger companies where I run the process end to end.
Right now I’m at SCALAR, working on fleet-management software that dispatchers use all day to keep trucks and drivers moving. I like this kind of work — the unglamorous parts especially. The person staring at the same screen for an eight-hour shift, the edge cases nobody wants to deal with, the small stuff that usually gets skipped. That’s usually where the real problems are.
On the side I run my own practice: I build Framer sites for clients and sell templates on the Framer Marketplace.
Outside work I’m at the CrossFit gym or playing beach volleyball. I’m Italian, I’ve been in Spain for twelve years, and I love to travel.
